About Baseball Camp
LCC Baseball Camp for grades 7-12 is designed to help baseball
players excel on and off the field. The fields of interest are the
mind, body, and soul of a player. This camp is primarily a defen-
sive camp that will highlight position drills and pitching mechanics.
We will engage drills that will challenge every player physically and
mentally. The intent is to help develop a greater depth of under-
standing of the game of baseball and to provide a routine that will
improve players during their off seasons. Spiritually, you'll be
coached by outstanding Christian young men with passion to
serve Christ through baseball. You'll hear their testimonies and be
challenged to play ball with a Christ centered attitude.

About the Camp Director
Les Evans is in his first season as the Head Coach of the Lincoln
Christian College baseball team. Even though this is his first year
coaching at LCC, Coach Evans is no stranger to the LCC baseball
program. Les graduated from Lincoln Christian College in 2003
where he played 3 seasons as a pitcher for the Preachers. After
graduating from LCC, Coach Evans was an Assistant Coach for
pitchers and outfielders at Shelbyville High School in Shelbyville, IL.
During his three seasons as an assistant, Shelbyville compiled a 58-
26 record including a conference championship.
