Coordinator of Mentored Ministry: Candra Landers, ext. 2353, clanders@lccs.edu, Student Development Office
Mentored Ministry activities are considered an integral part of a Christian college education. These activities provide opportunities for real ministry, which reinforces classroom learning, provides application of learning, and aids the student’s spiritual growth.
Goal
Every Christian is called to be involved in “ministry.” Our goal is for Lincoln Christian College students to be involved in active Christian ministry/service each semester they attend the College. Students should learn to serve individually, as well as in cooperation with others. This involvement in ministry fulfills one of the College’s learning objectives, which is to assist each student to “minister passionately and compassionately in the areas of his or her gifts.”
Requirements
In order to graduate, students must pass Mentored Ministry (CM 100) for every semester they are enrolled as full-time students. See the College catalog for policy details.
Mentored Ministry reports will be due twice during each semester (approximately mid-semester and one week prior to the last day of classes).
Students should record all their Mentored Ministry activities on the form provided by their academic advisor.
