Please review the steps below before you start your application. The requirements for admission are available here. Please review them. You will be submitting an application for admission to Lincoln Christian College (undergraduate). You will be asked for information about yourself, your church background, your high school experience, your parents/guardian (if you are under 21 years of age), and to provide contact information for three personal references (not family members). We also ask that you provide a recent photograph (either uploaded as part of the application or mailed) and a one-page single space essay (either uploaded as part of the application or mailed) on one of the following topics:
- Evaluate a significant experience, achievement, risk you have taken, or ethical dilemma you have faced and its impact on you.
- Indicate a person who has had a significant influence on you and describe that influence.
- Given your personal background, describe an experience that illustrates the uniqueness you would bring to the college community.
Application Steps
- Complete the application.
- Print 3 copies of the Reference Form (available here) and mail them to your references.
- Contact your high school and request your most current transcript be sent to the address below.
- If you are submitting your essay and photo by mail use the address below.
You should receive an e-mail message at the address provided within a few minutes of submitting the application confirming that your application was received. If you do not receive an acknowledgement letter within 7 working days of submission, please give us a call at (217) 732-7788 extension 2251.
