Lynn Laughlin received an A.B. in Preaching from Lincoln Christian College in 1964 and graduated from Lincoln Christian Seminary with an M.A. in New Testament in 1966. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Millikin University in 1967 and a Master of Arts from Illinois State University in 1969. He has taught in the area of New Testament and Physical Education. He has also served as Athletic Director, Director of Student Activities, Dean of Men, basketball and baseball coach. He assumed the position of Director of Recruitment as of November, 1981, and was Vice President of Student Development for LCC/LCS. As of February 2001, Lynn became the Vice President of Alumni Development. He has been employed by Lincoln Christian College and Seminary since 1964.
Lynn assisted in organizing AACAP, the Admissions Personnel of Christian Colleges, and serviced as the original President. He has spoken for CIY, led workshops at the NACC, and conducted numerous seminars with his wife, Lois. He helped with the organization, planning and travel schedule of Lincoln Christian College 's Dayspring for 20 years. Lynn also leads in the organization, training and scheduling of LCC's camp teams.
For 13 years, Lynn was the preaching minister at the Pleasant Hill Christian Chuch, Raymond , IL , (1963-76). Prior to this ministry, Lynn was the Youth Minister at Lake Fork Christian Church, Lake Fork , IL , from 1962-63. Since leaving the located ministry, Lynn has continued to preach regularly in many of the churches with which our alumni serve, and enjoys the opportunity to keep alumni informed of the ministry of Lincoln Christian College and Seminary.
He and his wife, Lois, have two children at home; Sarah and Marty. There are also three older children; Stephen, Melissa, and Tasha, and five grandchildren.
